Watch RISE: Evidence for the Resurrection SKIT

This is the SKIT from RISE 2: Evidence for the Resurrection held by InterHigh Fellowship. It goes through some of the common “theories” that were used to try to explain away the resurrection and the empty tomb in the past. Many of these theories (swoon theory, hallucinations, stolen body) are no longer debated among scholars as they have no evidence to support them.

The SKIT was done by youth students from the 6th graders who did the shadow puppets to the older kids who did everything from acting to prop moving! They did a wonderful job.

What was your Favorite Part of the Skit!

  • Please leave nice comments to support their great effort! :)
  • Also please let us know what part of the skit you liked the best!

William Lane Craig’s talk @ RISE: Evidence for the Resurrection

William Lane Craig’s came to RISE to speak to our InterHigh youth students about the numerous evidence for the resurrection. Dr. Craig laid out several points from the oddity of women finding the tomb, to highlighting the culture of the times, to the numerous independent sources of the facts, to how even the immediate opponents of this new ‘Christian’ movement did not deny the empty tomb. There is truly a wealth of historical and simple logical reasons why it is reasonable to believe that the tomb was empty and the resurrection is the best, most plausible explanation of what truly happened on that day.

Wondering what does the Resurrection of Christ mean for our lives?
Be sure to come to our next InterHigh Monthly: The Resurrection. NOW WHAT?

Chime in below in the Comments! What did you think?

My favorite part of the skit? That’s easy: “You know what they say about signs: They point to things.”

Wow great skit! Actually played as ninja that turns to llama, but all of it was great; really liked scenes 2, 4, and 6 (sorry, don’t like it when only judge, defender, and prosecutor are there!)

My favorite part of the skit was when the Wong Fei Hung song started playing. LOL! These high schoolers have great talents for a bunch that I assume don’t have much or no acting background.

Craig was great. It was actually my second time hearing him in person lecture about this subject.
